Centrottica’s origins date back to 1979 when Dr. Maurizio Rivelli, a Pharmacist and Optician, decided to make pre-mounted “off-center” glasses, so-called “reading” glasses.

Thus began the production of off-center acetate eyeglasses, prescription eyeglass frames with riveted temples, and technical “lens change” frames.

1993 ownership changes and production of acetate frames is added to the production of metal frames.

• 1993 BLUEYES Brand was born, conceived and designed for a youth target audience.
• 1997 NARA Eyewear Brand was born, dedicated to the elegant and refined woman.
• 2005 began the design, production and distribution of TIMMI and TIMMIMINI Brands.
• 2015 the historical Design of the Blueyes, Timmi and Timmimini Brands decided to abandon the anonymity of the Nara Eyewear Brand and at the 2015 Silmo Show exhibited the first Sight and Sun collection under its own name: NARATIEZZI.
